Terms of Service
The rules governing use of the syscut.com website and the SysCut Profile Suite license.
Last updated: August 5, 2026
By using the syscut.com website or purchasing a SysCut Profile Suite license, you agree to the following terms. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use the site or the software.
1. Definitions
For the purposes of these terms, "SysCut", "we", "our" refer to the business operating SysCut Profile Suite. "User", "you", or "your" refer to any person who visits the site or uses the software.
2. The website
The content of syscut.com (text, images, logo, structure) is the property of SysCut and may not be reproduced without written permission, except for personal, non-commercial use. You agree not to use the site for unlawful purposes or to attempt to disrupt or compromise its operation or security.
We strive to keep the site and our services available, but we do not guarantee continuous or uninterrupted access.
3. Free trial
SysCut Profile Suite may be downloaded and launched free of charge up to 3 times, without a license, for evaluation purposes. The free trial is provided "as is", without warranty, and is intended solely to help you confirm the software fits your needs before purchase.
4. Software license
- A license is tied to a unique machine code generated by the computer on which the software is installed (1 license = 1 workstation).
- If you replace your hardware or computer (new drive, motherboard, or device), a license reactivation on the new machine code may be obtained through your account, in accordance with our license management policy.
- The license is valid for a 1-year or 2-year term depending on the plan purchased, and is renewable.
- Your license serial is generated automatically once payment is confirmed, and delivered by email and through your account.
- The license is granted on a personal, non-exclusive basis; it may not be resold, transferred, or shared to another workstation without our agreement.
- SysCut reserves the right to suspend or revoke a license in cases of fraud, non-compliance with these terms, or misuse of the software.
5. Usage restrictions
You may not copy, modify, decompile, disassemble, reverse engineer, circumvent the software's protection mechanisms, or attempt to access its source code, except where expressly permitted by law. You also agree not to use the software to develop a competing product or to circumvent its licensing mechanisms.
6. Purchase and payment
Purchases made on syscut.com are processed by Lemon Squeezy, which acts as the merchant of record for all transactions. Prices are displayed in Canadian dollars (CAD); currency and applicable taxes are automatically adjusted for your country at checkout.
Given the digital nature of the software, refunds are not guaranteed and are evaluated case by case — the free trial's 3 launches let you confirm the software fits your needs before purchase. For any request, email us at info@syscut.com with your order details.
7. Warranty and limitation of liability
SysCut Profile Suite is provided "as is", without any warranty as to fitness for a particular purpose. To the fullest extent permitted by law, SysCut shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use the software, including loss of material, time, or profits. In no event shall SysCut's total liability exceed the amount paid for the license in question.
Results generated by SysCut Profile Suite (cut plans, estimates, quantities, manufacturing parameters) are provided as a decision-support aid. It is the user's responsibility to verify the accuracy of this data and its compliance with their project's requirements before any production run.
8. Intellectual property
SysCut Profile Suite, its code, its interface, and the SysCut brand remain the exclusive property of SysCut. Purchasing a license grants you a right to use the software, not ownership of it.
9. Force majeure
SysCut shall not be liable for any delay or failure to perform its obligations resulting from events beyond its reasonable control (natural disaster, major infrastructure outage, internet service disruption, labor dispute, war, cyberattack, etc.).
10. Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. The last-updated date appears at the top of this page. Continued use of the site or software after a change constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the province of Québec and, where applicable, the federal laws of Canada. Any dispute shall be submitted to the competent courts of the province of Québec, subject to any mandatory provision to the contrary.
